I had been on anti-depressants for many years, and I came to a point when I had had enough of them. That’s when I decided to seek help. I found Chris and he has helped me overcome my depression. After months of therapy, I don’t need the pills any more. Thank you, Chris.

I lost my beloved mother and I was feeling so sad and lonely without her. My human resource manager recommended that I had therapy with Chris in Harley Street. Before therapy, I didn’t realise bereavement had stages through which I had to process in order for me to overcome my grief. With lots of care and empathy, Chris has helped me come to terms with losing my mother and helped me to recover from my grief. Many thanks.

I was confused about my relationship and I knew that I had to do something about it. I have never had psychotherapy before. Anyhow, I thought ‘let’s try it’ – I had nothing to lose. After the first session, I felt I could trust Chris, and after a few sessions, I came to understand that my problems with relationships had everything to do with my fear of commitment. I am working on this. Chris, I can’t thank you enough for your help.

I started going to psychotherapy in Harley Street for my panic attacks. Later, it emerged that I also had a compulsion. It didn’t take long to overcome my panic attacks, but my compulsion was  ruining my life, and it took a long time and a lot of energy before I could break free. I am much better now, and as part of my personal development I have chosen to continue therapy for now, because sometimes I feel down, and then, after each session I feel so much better.

My life was in turmoil after I separated from my partner. It affected my self-esteem so much,  and I started to become overly self-conscious. My friends kept telling me that I needed some extra help, but of course, I wouldn’t listen, until I realised how much it was affecting my work as well as my social life. Somehow, I plucked up the courage to take the plunge and go for therapy, and I have never looked back. Therapy took time but it was all worth it. You can’t put a price on a good life. I spent money on all sorts of material things that didn’t help me feel any better. It was only when I started to invest in my mental well-being that I really started to feel better. I have rediscovered my self-confidence and identity. I am in a new relationship with the kind of person I much prefer to be with, and have a clearer sense of direction. Thank you, Chris.

Regrettably, I used to be an angry man, with a lot of stress at work,…  and because of my behaviour I have lost many friends and I am now divorced. However, I can now say that I am a better person. I am managing anger and stress with the help and understanding form Chris. I am learning where it all comes from…  after one year of therapy I feel much better and things are improving in my life.

Therapy with Chris Stavri is helping me find meaning and direction in life. I enjoy the meditations to understand deep issues. Chris’s approach is empathic, gentle and non-judgemental.

I lost my mother in a very unexpected way. In the space of three months, she was diagnosed with cancer and then passed away. After her death, I just couldn’t cope with anything. I found myself crying all the time. My husband suggested that I went to counselling, and I’m really glad I did. With Chris Stavri, I found the space to express my feelings of anger and sadness. I had therapy with him for a couple of years, until I started feeling happier and willing to live again. I don’t think I will ever recover completely from my mother passing away the way she did, but Chris definitely made it so much better and easier for me to cope.
