Gestalt
Gestalt comes from the German word meaning whole
or complete. In Gestalt counseling this wholeness involves:
- An holistic approach embracing mind, body and
spirit
- Recognising and reclaiming parts of the personality
that have been denied or disowned.
- Addressing unresolved situations that are causing
concern.
- The Gestalt approach has influenced and enriched
many other therapeutic models of working with people.
